Instagram’s CEO Kevin Systrom and Pope Francis have met to discuss the power of images. The two met last Friday in the official residence – Apostolic Palace in Vatican, ABC news channel reports. As Systrom stated in his personal Instagram, they “spoke about the power of images to unite people across different cultures and languages”.
Systrom has supported his opinion with a hand-crafted book with 10 pictures from Instagram, depicting earthquake in Nepal, European migrant crisis, global warming and others photos from all around the world.
It stands to mention that although Pope is an active social media user, he does not own and Instagram account while his twitter account has almost 9 million followers.
